Make Sure your Link Images show up on Facebook

I'm sure you noticed by now when you post a link on Facebook, sometimes an image shows up and sometimes there isn't one there. And sometimes you have your choice of images to pick from.
As far as game sites go this is essential. If you have people sharing the link to a game page on your site on Facebook, you want to make sure that they are also including an image of the game. <!--more-->
It is easy, just add something like this in the header:

&lt;link rel='image_src' href='<a href="view-source:"></a>' /&gt;

This is something code you put in your  like meta data. You can an example in the source code of this page, below:
<a href=""></a>

Here is an example of what you want to happen:
<a href=""><img class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-214" title="Pogo Swing on Facebook" src="" alt="" width="300" height="82" /></a>

Here is an example of it not working:

<a href=""><img class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-215" title="Justin Bieber Hair Defense on Lead Pipe Games" src="" alt="" width="300" height="73" /></a>

Enjoy and your welcome.

Get rid of comment Spam, Today!

I know it takes a whole 5 minutes and who has 5 minutes, but getting your Akismet API Key and Activating Akismet is well worth your time. I have gotten spam comment after spam comment, even though I have barely updated this blog. So today I did it.
1) Sign-In to your Wordpress.Com account, easy and you should probably already have one.
2) click on this: <a href=""></a>
3) copy and paste that key in your Akismet set-up
4) say goodbye to all that frickin' spam.

Wondering How to get More Traffic to your Flash Games Arcade?

People often ask, "How do I get more traffic to my site?" Assuming: 1) So far you have made a Flash Games Portal 2) You added games to your portal. <!--more-->Now look at your games on your portal. Notice how almost all of them have a splash screen advertising a big games site. Notice how there is "more games" links, notice how there is "walkthrough" links, notice how there is "high scores" links, do I need to go on?

You have 2 options:

1) Make your own games like <a href="" target="_blank">Bart Bonte</a>

2) Sponsor games from Developers, one place is <a href="" target="_blank">FGL</a>

You may say, "Sites like never sponsor games" Or at least that is what I used to think. But I was wrong, look at the bottom of almost any site and you will see something like this:

<a href=""><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-223" title="Games for Your Site" src="" alt="" width="256" height="76" /></a>

Ok, now look click there and you will see something like has:

<a href="" target="_blank">Games for your site</a>

Oh, look at that, I've heard of "Free Rider" :)
